  • Male & Female Receiving*: 12/2008-10/2013: Behavioral Health Specialist I, Program Manager:  Provide individual & group therapy (both traditional & DMT, including referral based in-depth trauma groups), hold psycho education groups, assist with creating & maintaining an interdisciplinary milieu schedule for 3 units, maintain an updated schedule on the EMSH Intranet page for access by staff, perform psychological evaluations & create Individual Specialized Plans PRN (ISPs identify target behaviors, goals, objectives and specific approach/strategies for those behaviors). I chaired the Bulletin Board Committee who maintained bulletin boards for the receiving units. Provide individual & group therapy (both traditional & DMT), chart on clients according to MDS schedule, create an enriching, interest based program to meet & exceed Department of Justice standards for nursing home, including incorporating community volunteer groups & compilation of department performance quarterly & annually. I also created a new department annual assessment to capture a holistic picture of clients.
    • *This 220 bed facility is a division of East Mississippi State Hospital and served individuals with a variety of physical, mental & emotional health needs.

Cheshire Medical Center, Keene, NH:
